Stampin' Up! Mixed Bunch

This card has been created for the Dynamic Duos challenge to use Concord Crush and Wisteria Wonder.

Now I'm usually a 'purple' kinda girl...but I struggled a bit with this one.....hope you like it. There is a 2012-2013 Holiday Catalogue sneak peek in this card....can you see it??

Festive Fridays #33 - Sketch Challenge + Sneak Peeks!!!

Hello Stampin' friends

For this week's Festive Friday Challenge, we were given this sketch....

I decided to use some brand new Designer Series Paper from the upcoming 2012-2013 Stampin' Up Annual Catalogue plus a new In Color, new ribbon and a new embellishment....yay for new product!!!

I received most of this product at the Stampin' Up! Convention earlier this year....another big benefit of being a demonstrator .....free stuff!! :)

Materials used....most of it is still under wraps so I can't give too much away....
Stamps: Perfect Punches
Ink: can't tell you, but it IS a new In Color!
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, DSP (new!), Cherry Cobbler....plus a new In Color!!
Accessories: can't tell you! LOL!....oh except for the SU pearl.
Tools: Paper Cutter, Simply Scored (for the border), 1 3/4 scallop circle punch, 2 3/4 scallop circle punch, 1 3/8 circle punch, corner punch, dimensionals, SNAIL, mini glue dot.  

Stampin' Up! Betsy's Blossoms for Fathers Day!

Can you tell that I'm might be getting addicted to the Dynamic Duos Challenge blog and the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge ??? :)

For my card, I used the leaf stamp from Betsy's Blossoms and was inspired by these two cards by Mary Fish.....here.....and here . I like how Mary used the leaf to make a custom designer series paper in the first card....and I was really inspired by the boldness of the second card...the way Mary has used a dark colour on a lighter neutral....it is so striking! :)

I loved how well River Rock, Whisper White & Basic Black went together...I would have never guessed....that is the great thing about these challenges....the more you do, the more your colour palette expands.

Stamps - Betsy's Blossoms, Well Scripted (retired)
Ink - Basic Black
Cardstock - Whisper White smooth & textured, Basic Black, River Rock, River Rock Designer Series Paper from the Neutrals stack
Accessories - misc brads
Tools - Paper Cutter, Snail, Itty Bitty Punch pack, Mat Pack, Dimensionals, Corner Rounder Punch, Large Oval Punch

I'm on a roll with my sneak peeks from the new catalogue.....

Here's another card that I made by using some of the materials we received as part of a "Make n Take" kit at the Stampin' Up! Convention in Canberra earlier this year.....it was meant to be a really big flower, but I separated the flower layers so I could make more than one project with them.

Again....new stamp sets, new DSP, new button! Yippee!!!!!

Stampin' Up! Elegant Butterfly Punch

Just sharing another sneak peek from the upcoming 2012-2013 Stampin' Up! Catalogue. I made this card earlier this year at the Stampin' Up! Convention in Canberra.

It uses all new stamps, DSP, buttons, a punch and a framelit!
