Stampin’ Up! Australia - Stampin’ Up! Delicate Ornaments Thinlit Dies.

Hi

Welcome to this week's Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge.

I chose the colour palette form the TGIF Challenge this week.....modern festive colours of Pool Party, Whisper White and Real Red.

I made a couple of lovely ornaments from the Delicate Ornaments Thinlit Dies....layering Red Foil over Red Glimmer paper makes a lovely finishing element to a card. :)

I used the Pool Party piece from the Home for Christmas DSP and layered this onto some Pool Party card stock.

The background is embossed with the Elegant Dots Embossing Folder.

Here is our sketch this week:

Here’s the colour palette from TGIF Challenges:

Card recipe

Stamp - Cozy Christmas
Ink - Real Red, Pool Party
Cardstock - Whisper White Thick Cardstock, Pool Party, Home for Christmas DSP, Red Foil, Red Glimmer Paper
Tools - Stampin' Trimmer, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Fine Tip Glue Pen, Silver Ribbon, Big Shot, Elegant Dots Embossing Folder, Glue Dots.

I hope you will join in and create a card with us.....and please feel free to leave me and the other CCMC participants some comments! :)

Stampin' Up! Australia - Stampin' Up Christmas Card - Wondrous Wreath

Hi!
Welcome to this week's Artful Stampers Blog Hop and welcome from Anna's blog. :)

I freaked out a bit at all the layers on this card but you will see that I cheated a bit with the opposing circle elements and made these some metallic twine design features.

I also looked to Paper Pals Arts for their colour combination this week and I went with a non-traditional Christmas card in colours of Blackberry Bliss, Sahara Sand and Always Artichoke.

Here is the sketch for this week...

Here is the colour palette from Pals Paper Arts:

Stampin' Up! Australia - Color Coach Card #128 - Stampin' Up! Christmas Card

Sahara Sand #1

#ColorCoachJourney

Hi

Welcome to this week's Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge.

I chose Color Coach colours of Sahara Sand, Pear Pizzazz and Early Espresso to make a neutral toned Christmas Card.

Please don't look at the crooked pearls!! DON'T JUDGE ME! :)

The sketch called for diagonal details so I just used the Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder to keep the layers minimal.

Here is our sketch...

Cardstock- Very Vanilla, Timeless Elegance Designer Series Paper, Sahara Sand

Stampin' Up! Australia - Mini Treat Bag Thinlit Die

Hi!

Welcome to this week's CASE-ing the Catty Blog Hop! Welcome from Rachel's blog!

This week the Blog Hop challenge is all about CASE-ing a project from the Gift Packaging section (pages 55 - 66) of the 2015-2016 Stampin' Up! Catalogue.

CASE stands for Copy and Share Everything.  This whole blog hop is about using the current Stampin' Up! Catalogues to help you create.  Sometimes crafters need a springboard to just get started and the catalogues are certainly a demonstrator or customer's best resource.

I've done a very VERY simple treat bag using the Mini Treat Bag Thinlit Dies and the In Color Envelope Paper in Tip Top Taupe.

This is going to a colleague at work tomorrow. It is his birthday on the weekend and I will find a delicious cookie or sweet treat to put in the bag for him.

I didn't dress it up too much as I wanted to keep it nice and simple. The bag, the banner and the 'For You' are all made from dies in the thinlit set. The Starburst is from the retired Starburst Framelits and the Whisper White circle was punched using the 1 3/4 inch circle punch.

Here's my inspiration....

Stampin' Up! Australia - Build A Birthday + Wondrous Wreath Christmas Card

Hi

Welcome to this week's Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge.

When I saw these colours, I knew I wanted to create a Christmas card, but I wasn't sure how to theme it. I looked to Merry Monday this week for their challenge and saw it was 'Candles and Flowers'....perfect!

I used Build-A-Birthday and Wondrous Wreath to make a modern layered Christmas card. The candle flames were stamped in Crumb Cake and heat embossed over the top with Iridescent Ice embossing powder - they are lovely and sparkly. :)

I also got to use the gorgeous 5/8" Striped Cotton Ribbon in Lost Lagoon...looks great against the Very Vanilla card stock in real life. Makes a very rustic bow.

Here are our colours....

Retrosketches helped with this great layered sketch....

Here's the inspiration image from Merry Monday...

Edited 7/7/15 - I was so honoured to be in the gallery of Honorable Mentions this week for the Merry Monday Challenge. :)

Stampin' Up! Australia - Stampin' Up! Flower Patch

Hi

Welcome to another Artful Stampers blog hop!

With the influx of any new catalogue comes the neglect of stamps on the shelf...so I pulled out trusty Flower Patch for this card.

I used the sketch from CASE This Sketch as a guide, but I couldn't get the sentiment to work on its side, so I flipped them horizontally. I used the Alphabet Rotary Stamp for the sentiment - a fun vintage typography look.

I had a heap of fun stamping my envelope too....you should stamp your envelopes if you don't already...it's another blank canvas waiting to be adorned! :)

Here are our colours for the challenge...

Here is the CASE This Sketch challenge...
