Stampin’ Up! Australia - Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Ride - Volkswagen Beetle stamp

Hi!

The inspiration image at The Card Concept's this week is a beautiful image of a marshmallow heart floating in a gorgeous mug of hot chocolate!

I was inspired by the heart theme as well as the warm-ness of the chocolate so I thought I would combine the red and kraft colours. I couldn’t wait to colour in my new ‘Beautiful Ride’ Volkswagen Beetle stamp! It is in the new Occasions catalogue - squeeeee!

It also happens to be my husband’s parents’ 47th wedding anniversary and I thought this would make a cute card.

I coloured my ‘bug’ with Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities...remember them!? I chose Shimmer White card stock so the bug is cool and shimmery.

The patterned paper is a retired paper stack called “Stacked with Love”....so cute for Anniversary and Valentine cards.

Here's the inspiration image.....

Stampin' Up! Australia - Color Coach Card #118 - Stacked with Love DSP

Basic Black #1

#ColorCoachJourney

Hi

I sought inspiration for this card from one of our recent Impressions magazines, which is a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator perk every 2 months. It always has great ideas and projects to showcase Stampin' Up! products.

This card uses Color Coach colours of Basic Black, Bermuda Bay and Smoky Slate.

The main base of the card is whisper white but I covered it entirely with the ampersand print from Stacked with Love. The sentiment is a thinlit die from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Die. So cute!

I used the banner punch to create the little flags at the top and then stapled a punched arrow across them.

I hope you like my card. If you have been inspired by it and would like to support my creative business, all the supplies may be found by clicking through the links below which will take you to my store (some links not active until 2nd June).

The 2015 Occasions Catalogue is still current until 2 June so if you would like to go on my mailing list and receive your free copy, just send me an email. :)
