Stampin' Up! Australia - Color Coach Card #102 - Happy Easter!!!

Soft Suede #1

#ColorCoachJourney

Hi

Happy Easter!

I'm sharing a quick project here for my Color Coach Journey that uses Soft Suede, Daffodil Delight and Pool Party.

I made a little gift envelope for a block of organic chocolate that I (I mean....the Easter Bunny) got for my husband for Easter.

I used the Envelope Punch Board to make it out of the Park Lane DSP. I used the Cheerful Critters stamp set for the Easter Bunny tag and coloured the bunny in Soft Suede and Pool Party using a Blender Pen.

The flower was made using some flower scraps and I topped the middle of it with the Daffodil Delight print from Park Lane DSP.

The sentiment from Teeny Tiny Sentiments fits perfectly in the placard. :)

I hope you like my project. If you have been inspired by it and would like to support my creative business, all the supplies may be found by clicking through the links below which will take you to my store.

The 2015 Occasions Catalogue is still current so if you would like to go on my mailing list and receive your free copy, just send me an email. :)

Cheers

Stampin' Up! Australia - Color Coach Card #87 - Cheerful Critters

Old Olive #1

#ColorCoachJourney

Hi

Welcome to this week's CASE-ing the Catty!

Today the challenge is all about CASE-ing from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue and to use buttons & ribbon.

CASE stands for Copy and Share Everything.  This whole challenge blog is about using the current Stampin' Up! Catalogues to help you create.  Sometimes crafters need a springboard to just get started and the catalogues are certainly a demonstrator or customer's best resource.
So check out the buttons and ribbons in the Sale-A-Bration Catalogue and find a project that you would like to try.

There are lots of ideas but here's a few to help you get started -
  • CASE a sketch or layout
  • Try a colour combo
  • CASE an embellishment and use it on your own project

Most importantly, have FUN!

Guidelines -

  • Create a new project for the current challenge.
  • Mention CTC Challenges in your blog post and link back here so others can join in on the fun.  Please ensure that you link up your blog post, not your whole blog.
  • Mostly SUO (Stampin' Up! ® Only) products (retired or current) to be used in your projects for CTC Challenges.
  • Have fun and inspire others!
I used Cheerful Critters (again!) on my card. I thought the card on page 21 was SO cute and I love the touches of the button, ribbon and washi tape.

I went with the Color Coach combo of Old Olive, Soft Suede and Crushed Curry. The little bear was coloured with the middle shade from the Crumb Cake Blendabilities marker pack as this was the closest shade to Soft Suede. I used the Color Lifter for the bear's ears and nose to give a lighter shade in these areas. The sentiment was also stamped in Soft Suede. The bear's shirt was coloured with Old Olive Blendabilities.

You can earn the Crushed Curry button and ribbon for free during Sale-A-Bration by choosing the Best Year Ever Accessory Pack as your free item with your order of $90.

Here's the original card from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue (page 21):

I hope you like my card. If you have been inspired by it and would like to support my creative business, all the supplies may be found by clicking through the links below which will take you to my store.

The 2015 Occasions Catalogue and the Sale-A-Bration catalogue are OUT NOW so if you would like to go on my mailing list and receive your free copy, just send me an email. :)

Stampin' Up! Australia - Cheerful Critters Birthday - CASE-ing the Catty #18

Hi

Welcome to this week's CASE-ing the Catty!

Today the challenge is all about CASE-ing from the Birthday section of the Occasions Catalogue.

CASE stands for Copy and Share Everything.  This whole challenge blog is about using the current Stampin' Up! Catalogues to help you create.  Sometimes crafters need a springboard to just get started and the catalogues are certainly a demonstrator or customer's best resource.
So check out the Valentine's section of the Occasions Catty and find a project that you would like to try.

I decided to CASE the Cheerful Critters Birthday card from page 14. This card is for my brother's birthday....hence my handwritten "DUDE!" on the front. :)

 Here's the original:

Instead of the yellow stripe, I decided to use the brick wall paper from the Adventure Bound Designer Series Paper Stack and made it look like the critters were popping out from behind a wall. :)

Instead of the watercolour wash of the original, I used the Irresistibly Yours DSP from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue and sponged it in Soft Sky to create a starry background.

I hope you like my card. If you have been inspired by it and would like to support my creative business, all the supplies may be found at my online store or by clicking the links in the recipe below.

Be sure to visit the rest of the CASE-ing the Catty Design Team and see what they have done this week. We would love you to join us and link up your projects to our blog. :)
