Stampin' Up! Australia - You've Got This

Hi!
Welcome to this week's Artful Stampers Blog Hop and welcome from Annette's blog.

I used the crosshatch background stamp to showcase the colours...I really probably should have used a Stampin' Sponge to blend the colours a bit....but I don't mind the way this turned out.

I'm going to send this to a friend of mine who is facing some big 'fork in the road' kinda life decisions.

Stampin' Up! Australia - Stampin' Up! Happy Birthday Everyone

Hi!

Welcome to this week's CASE-ing the Catty Blog Hop! Welcome from Jackie's blog.

This week the Blog Hop challenge is all about CASE-ing a project inspired by the Hostess stamps section of the 2015-2016 Stampin' Up! Catalogue (pages179 - 181).

CASE stands for Copy and Share Everything.  This whole blog hop is about using the current Stampin' Up! Catalogues to help you create.  Sometimes crafters need a springboard to just get started and the catalogues are certainly a demonstrator or customer's best resource.

When I saw this card in the catalogue...I fell in love with it...the layout and the sentiment.

I didn't have the background dahlia stamp so I used my vintage Medallion stamp instead.

Here's my inspiration....

I hope you like my card. If you have been inspired by it and would like to support my creative business, all the supplies may be found by clicking through the links below which will take you to my store.

The 2015-2016 Annual Catalogue  is out NOW so if you would like to know how to get your free copy, just send me an email. :)

Stampin' Up! Australia - Stampin' Up! Dotty Angles

Hi

Welcome to this week's Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge.

I had a beautiful sketch all planned out from the other night....all my best ideas come to me at 11pm just as I'm getting ready for bed.  I had written it down on a post it note and sat down this evening to make the blueprint come to life.....

....that is until I discovered that my 4 year old son had removed the handle of my Big Shot and hidden it in a location that he had since forgotten.

Brilliant.

So the following card was made as my anger slowly bubbled and consumed me. >:{

It was clean and simple out of sheer necessity!

Here are our colours for this week....

Card recipe

Stamp - Dotty Angles, Happy Birthday Everyone
Ink - Watermelon Wonder, Pool Party, Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
Cardstock - Whisper White Thick cardstock, Whisper White CS
Tools - Stampin' Trimmer, Stampin' Dimensionals

I hope you will join in and create a card with us.....and please feel free to leave me and the other CCMC participants some comments! :)

Cheers

Stampin' Up! Australia - Stampin' Up Sweet Lil Things DSP

Hi!
Welcome to this week's Artful Stampers Blog Hop and welcome from Tamsin's blog.

I needed to make a baby shower card for this weekend so I thought I would use some of the gorgeous Sweet Lil Things Designer Series Paper.

I went with the vintage Fox & Friends stamp set for my card and I used the greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments and chopped it up so it could follow the lines of the scallop circle
Here's my card...

I wrapped the present in our lovely brown paper from our Stampin' Up! delivery boxes and tied some Hello Honey cotton twill ribbon around it. It matched beautifully....the photo is on my Instagram

Here is our sketch

Stampin' Up! Australia - Stampin' Up! In Colors

Hi!

Welcome to this week's CASE-ing the Catty Blog Hop! Welcome from Rebecca's blog!

This week the Blog Hop challenge is all about CASE-ing a project inspired by the In Colors on page 137 of the 2015-2016 Stampin' Up! Catalogue.

CASE stands for Copy and Share Everything.  This whole blog hop is about using the current Stampin' Up! Catalogues to help you create.  Sometimes crafters need a springboard to just get started and the catalogues are certainly a demonstrator or customer's best resource.

My card uses 4 out of the 5 current In Colors and I threw in Tip Top Taupe for the envelope to complete the colour family. The stamp is "I Think You're Great" which showcases the 'kissing' technique where you ink up your stamp and then put another stamp against the inked rubber to lift off the ink thus giving a patterned effect. :)

Here's the colour breakdown...
Mint Macaron - card base
Delightful Dijon - washi tape
Cucumber Crush - sentiment panel
Watermelon Wonder - punched heart
Tip Top Taupe - envelope

Here's my inspiration....

I hope you like my card. If you have been inspired by it and would like to support my creative business, all the supplies may be found by clicking through the links below which will take you to my store.
