Stampin' Up! Australia - Stampin' Up! Baby card

Welcome to this week's CASE-ing the Catty Blog Hop! Welcome from Rachel's blog.

This week the Blog Hop challenge is all about CASE-ing a project from the Baby section of the 2015-2016 Stampin' Up! Catalogue. 

CASE stands for Copy and Share Everything.  This whole blog hop is about using the current Stampin' Up! Catalogues to help you create.  Sometimes crafters need a springboard to just get started and the catalogues are certainly a demonstrator or customer's best resource.

A very good friend of mine just had a beautiful baby girl on the weekend and this card is going across the miles to the US to her. :)

I used Zoo Babies and created the same layout as the inspiration piece. I used Sprinkles of Life for the flowers...I just wish I'd used a dark green for the flower stems that's all.

I used the Envelope Punch Board to make a custom envelope from the Sweet Lil Things Designer Series Paper. :)

This week the Blog Hop challenge is all about CASE-ing a project that caught the eye from the BRAND NEW 2015-2016 Stampin' Up! Catalogue. A project that jumped off the page!

Here's my card:

I'm using the zebra from Zoo Babies with some new Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper. 

I don't have the new Metallic Gold Thread yet so I made do with the Gold Twine and unravelled what I needed. I'm sure the new thread would sit better though as the twine gold is all pre-bent and curly. 

I splattered some Watermelon Wonder ink using an Aquapainter onto my card stock and then covered it with some vellum card stock. This was embellished with Epoxy Accents, Candy Dots and Pearls.

Stampin' Up! Australia - Stampin' Up! Sprinkles of Life with Zoo Babies

Welcome to this week's Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge.

I saw this sketch at Retrosketches and thought it would make a wonderful card using the new Sprinkles of Life stamp set and punch. I even used the cupcake sprinkles stamp as the straw for the animals to stand on. 

Zoo Babies added some cuteness. :)

I used a stencil from a kit from the last catalogue for the sunshine, but the effect is easily achieved using a circle punched stencil and some rectangular post it notes. I used Hello Honey for the sun centre and So Saffron for the rays and used sponges to get a graduated look.

Stampin' Up! Australia - Color Coach Card #103 - Stampin' Up Zoo Babies

Welcome to this week's Artful Stampers Blog Hop.

I made this card for my son's little friend who is celebrating a birthday this coming weekend. I made a shaker card and used the Color Coach colours of Tangerine Tango, Pacific Point and So Saffron.

I went a bit crazy and used 4 stamp sets on this card, but it seemed only right to put some bunting up above the Zoo Babies animals......and then when I realised that the Itty Bitty Banners birthday sentiment layered perfectly on top of the Amazing Birthday 'surprise' stamp, it just HAD to go on the card! :)
