Stampin' Up! Australia - Stampin' Up! Flower Patch

**Edited 8/11/15....I was delighted to read that my little card was selected as a favourite over at CASE This Sketch this week. :) ***

Welcome to this week's Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge.

The colours inspired me to make a fairly clean and graphic style card. I wanted to use some die cuts so I went with the Flower Fair Framelits and the Banner Framelit Dies.

I was also inspired by the sketch at CASE This Sketch this week

Card recipe

Stamp - Amazing Birthday
Ink - Real Red, Memento Tuxedo Black
Cardstock - Whisper White, Basic Black, Smoky Slate, Real Red
Tools - Big Shot, Flower Fair Framelit Dies, Banner Framelit Dies, Stampin' Trimmer, Stampin' Dimensionals, SNAIL, Fine Tip Glue Pen (for the stalk) ,
1 inch circle punch, 1 1/4 inch scallop circle punch
Accessories - Rhinestone Jewels, Staple

I hope you will join in and create a card with us.....and please feel free to leave me and the other CCMC participants some comments! :)

  1. A great take on both challenges! Love the clean and simple lines yet the color combo makes it look so classy! :)

  2. What a great take on the sketch and I love that you went floral when everyone else went with a Christmas theme this week!

  3. Fun! Looks just like the sketch. Great job with the color challenge this week on Create with Connie and Mary!

  4. Glad to see someone [besides me] have a literal play with this sketch... LOve it Alison!

  5. Love these elements together, and I love how you included a greeting in the center of the flower! Trendy and fun look!

  6. I love how you created your flower! That, and the cute banner make this a fun, classy card!

  7. Clean and simple. Great way to combine the two challenges! Love the bold red and black on the white card base.

  8. I love your take on the sketch Alyson and a deserved winner - so clean and graphic!
