Stampin' Up! Australia - Stampin' Up! You've Got This

Welcome to this week's Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge.

The colours this week are all from the same colour palette so they are easy to blend and use together. My stamp of choice is "You've Got This". The background is Blushing Bride, the flower is stamped in Watermelon Wonder and I used a blender pen to apply Calypso Coral ink to the petals and blended it into the Blushing Bride below it. It pulled some of the Watermelon into it too.

I love how this turned out. I used a White Gel Pen to mark out the stamen of the flower.

Here are our colours for this week...

  1. Alison this card is lovely - what a perfect blend of this week's colour trio! I love the addition of the white sequins too.

  2. Gorgeous, Alison! The shading is perfect!

  3. What a striking monochromatic card! Great job blending Coral into the flower - not the simplest feat, but your card has a beautiful CAS look!

  4. Pretty, pretty! Love the subtle differences in shades on your card and image! Beautiful! Great job with the color challenge this week!

  5. Beautiful card! Just coloring the flowers and not the leaves and stem really allows the flower to be the star of the show. It is gorgeous. The sequins here and there are a nice touch too!

  6. Very pretty! The watercoloring softens the colors and mutes them a bit lending to a very soft and feminine card.

  7. I love how your card turned out also!! What a great inspiration to use use this set with these colors; they work perfectly with it to create a very beautiful card!! WOW! Your coloring gives such a soft and almost dreamy quality; lovely!!
