The Artfull Stampers - Seasonal Catalogue Blog Hop! Sunshine, Sprinkles and Pinwheels!!

Hello Friends!

How great are all the fantastic products you can earn for free during Sale-A-Bration??? Well, you've had a couple of weeks to recover from that. Take a deep breath and check out the most fantastic Seasonal Catalogue. It's another 39 pages of delicousness! The Artfull Stampers have been stamping up a storm again and we're celebrating the launch of our new catalogue with another Blog Hop!! . You may have hopped here from the wonderful blog of Melissa Davies. I'm #9 on the hop!

Today I’m showing you a couple of baby cards inspired by the card on page 28 of the catalogue.

I used Primrose Petals and Marina Mist as my respective bases and the new Textured Impressions Embossing Folder 'Cloudy Day' on my Whisper White feature panel. I just LOVE this new embossing folder.....it is so very cute!!
I used the new Pinwheel Sizzlits Die as my main decorative feature.....the best thing about this die is that all the pinwheels are the same size and proportion...which appeals to my sense of OCD. I used a large pearl in the middle instead of a brad, but the die cuts the little holes for a brad already if you wanted to use one. To thread a brad onto the die, I found it best to get your paper piercer....stick it through the bottom of the pinwheel in the centre hole, then thread your corner holes onto the tip of the piercer. When it comes time to put your brad in, just hold the whole thing together with your finger....slide out the paper piercer and then push the brad in. By using the paper piercer, it widens the holes a little bit and positions the corners in place. To use a pearl, I used a couple of glue dots. :)

To flag the ends of my DSP banner, I used my 1" square punch. Too easy!!

If you have any questions about my cards, feel free to comment or email me. I'll be only too happy to help you.
