I made this card for the TGIF Challenge - watercolour + a sketch....I took a bit of artistic licence with the sketch and skewed it a bit.
I did something different and made a collage card....a piece of watercolour bokeh, some All Abloom Designer Series Paper, a metallic doily, some sequins, and a piece of glittery foam from a craft project.
I put them all together on some Kraft card stock and added a Naturals Expressions Wooden embellishment. :)
I recently watched a beautiful documentary called Making Mail which showcases a truly incredible art. It has inspired me to start making some more of my own mail art to accompany my handmade cards.
This card is going out as a surprise to a fellow blogger. I hope she likes it. :)
I made my own envelope from Kraft card stock with the Envelope Punch Board, did some bokeh technique on it, and then stamped the address (blotched out here for privacy) with the Alphabet Rotary Stamp. :)
I also stamped a fun message inside with the Alphabet Rotary stamp.....I didn't worry too much about the boo-boo...I just stamped it again. :)
Here is the challenge theme and the sketch...
