Festive Friday Challenge #17 - Delicate Doilies Christmas!

Hi everyone

Another festive card for Nicole Derendorf's Festive Friday Challenge #17!

Here is the sketch that Nicole set for us:

When I first saw the sketch, I had hoped to do 3 ornaments down the right hand side with a lovely festive bow, but no matter what I did, it just never seemed to work, so I rotated the sketch, stamped a couple of doilies, punched a glittery ornament and voila....here's my card:

Materials used:
Stamps: Delightful Decorations, Delicate Doilies
Ink: Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler
Cardstock: Naturals Ivory, Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, First Edition Specialty Designer Series Paper, Red Glimmer Paper (from 2011 Summer Mini, but still available!),
Accessories: Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine (from 2011 Summer Mini, but still available!)
Tools: Ornament punch, 3/4 circle punch, SNAIL, Paper Cutter, Dimensionals, Simply Scored, Sponges

Stampin' Up! - "Less is More" Delicate Doilies

Hello...again...

In the spirit of "Clean & Simple" cards, I visited the
Less is More card challenge blog. The theme this week is One Layer Birds .

The card is pretty self-explanatory! Just a fun Birthday card with just one layer of stamping. Easy! The photo doesn't really do it justice....it's much nicer in real life!

Materials used (all Stampin' Up!):
Stamps - Delicate Doilies, Cheep Talk (retired), Friendly Phrases
Ink - Crumb Cake, Poppy Parade
Cardstock - Naturals Ivory
Tools - Paper Cutter, Bone Folder

Swap card for Stampin' Up! Regional Training

Hello everyone
Thought I would share this card front that I made for the Stampin' Up! Brisbane Regionals that I'm attending this tomorrow.
It's my very first Stampin' Up! seminar where I hope to meet a tonne of like-minded craft nerds and learn some new Stampin' Up! techniques. If you have ever thought that you might like to surround yourself with creative, paper & stamp-obsessed people, then sign up as a demonstrator through me with Stampin' Up! now and you can come with me to the next one! :)

My card was inspired by this card by Adriana Benitez. I loved the combination of yellow and purple and the clean white spaces on her card. You can't see it in the photo, but the main circle panel is slightly elevated on a dimensional so it "hovers" above the card. I figured the "Just For You" sentiment could double as a birthday or a thank you card.

I made 30 of these to swap and I hope to get lots of new ideas from all the talented Stampin' Up! demonstrators that will be there tomorrow! :)
