Stampin' Up! Australia - Stampin' Up! Kind Koala

Hi

Welcome to this week's Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge.

The colour of Tip Top Taupe gave me the idea to pull out the cute Kind Koala stamp set. I used a Blender Pen to add some colour to the koala's ears.

Before you say anything...yes, I know that koalas are grey and not brown! I've seen them in the wild here in Australia - they are pretty big and they also don't hold flowers. ;)

Cardstock - Whisper White, Whisper White Thick Card stock, Lost Lagoon

Tools - Stampin' Trimmer, Stampin' Dimensionals, SNAIL, Blender Pen
Accessories - Regals Candy Dots, Tip Top Taupe Dotted Lace Trim

Stampin' Up! Australia - Stampin' Up Kind Koala - Moonlight DSP

Hi

I really can't get enough of this little guy.....the Kind Koala stamp really is too cute, and so much fun to colour in with the Blendabilities.

When I saw the sketch at CASE This Sketch, Kind Koala sprung immediately to mind. :)

I coloured him with the Smoky Slate Blendabilities and the flower was done in the Daffodil Delight Blendabilities. His little nose was coloured with the lightest marker from the Crumb Cake Blendabilities set. :)

The DSP is from the new Moonlight Designer Series Paper Stack, mounted on a piece of Hello Honey card stock.

Stampin' Up! Australia - Stampin' Up! Kind Koala

Hi

This card was inspired by the sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch....they have a cool challenge this week to use a tag either alone or on a project.

I received Kind Koala and some Crumb Cake Blendabilities in my last order and I couldn't wait to try him out on a project.

I know that koala's are grey, but because there was Sahara Sand in the Moonlight DSP card stock, I thought the Crumb Cake would look better so I took a bit of artistic licence here. :)
