Stampin' Up! Australia - Color Coach Card #99 - Stampin' Up! Celebrate Today

Pumpkin Pie #2

#ColorCoachJourney

Hi

I tried to make this ‪combo of Pumpkin Pie, Real Red and Pacific Point a clean & simple affair...but really...who was I kidding!? With these bold colours....I just had to go for it and use Celebrate Today to smash a fun layered birthday card! :)

The background is the chevron print from the Brights Designer Series Paper Stack and the Pacific Point centre panel is the Irresistibly Yours DSP sponged with Pacific Point. Remember this DSP is only available in the Sale-A-Bration catalogue until 31st March!

My card was inspired by the sketch at Retrosketches this week:

I'm linking this card to the lovely Seize the Birthday challenge.

Stampin' Up! Australia - CASE-ing The Catty #23 - Best Day Ever + Celebrate Today

Hi

Welcome to this week's CASE-ing the Catty

This week the challenge is all about using both Sale-A-Bration and Occasions product in your project. I have CASE'd the project from the front cover of the Sale-A-Bration catalogue.

CASE stands for Copy and Share Everything.  This whole challenge blog is about using the current Stampin' Up! Catalogues to help you create.  Sometimes crafters need a springboard to just get started and the catalogues are certainly a demonstrator or customer's best resource.

Most importantly, have FUN!

Guidelines -

  • Create a new project for the current challenge.
  • Mention CTC Challenges in your blog post and link back here so others can join in on the fun.  Please ensure that you link up your blog post, not your whole blog.
  • Mostly SUO (Stampin' Up! ® Only) products (retired or current) to be used in your projects for CTC Challenges.
  • Have fun and inspire others!

On my card, I used the Irresistibly Yours DSP (SAB), the Best Day Ever stamp set (SAB), a teeny strip of the Best Year Ever DSP (SAB), and the banners and starbursts from Celebrate Today (Occasions catalogue). The clip is from a retired set of hardware clips, but a metallic silver clothespin would give the same effect. :)

I used a toothpick as the handle of my little banner flag. :)

Here's the original inspiration:

Stampin' Up! Australia - Color Coach Card #98 - Butterfly Basics Bokeh

Garden Green #2

Hi

Welcome to this week's Create with Connie and Mary  Thursday Challenge!

This week's challenge is a sketch challenge so I am using some Color Coach colours - Garden Green, Melon Mambo and So Saffron.

Now, those that know me well know that I LOVE the Bokeh technique....my first card with this technique was this one back in August 2014 and I have created dozens more since then....it is a highly addictive technique!

Here's our sketch:

...so I flipped it and the dots and background patterns became my 'bokeh' details.

I hope you like my card! The recipe is below.

Stamp - Butterfly Basics
Ink - Garden Green, So Saffron, Melon Mambo, Whisper White Craft Ink
Cardstock - Very Vanilla, Watercolour paper, Melon Mambo, Garden Green, Vellum
Tools - Big Shot, Butterfly Framelit Dies, Melon Mambo Blendabilities (discontinued since I made this card), Stampin' Dimensionals, Scallop Ribbon Border Punch
Accessories - Pearls

I hope you will join in and create a card with us.....and please feel free to leave me and the other CCMC participants some comments! :)

Cheers

Stampin' Up! Australia - Color Coach Card #97 - Flower Patch

Daffodil Delight #2

#ColorCoachJourney

Hi

Flower Patch.....remember this stamp!? It is still current, but seems to have been forgotten by the interwebs and Pinterest just a little bit.

As I was creating this card, I was reminded of how fun this stamp set was to use in terms of layering.

The colour coach combination for this was Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Night of Navy (which I have done before as part of the Night of Navy colour coach card, but anyway...can't hurt to do a second combo).

The background DSP is from Park Lane and the embossed panel is Whisper White embossed with the Spring Flowers embossing folder.

The middle of my flower is a punched 1/2 inch circle of Daffodil Delight card stock and I covered it with one of the large circles from the Itty Bitty Accents Epoxy Stickers. It looks really good, but you can't really see it in the photo.

Here is our sketch:

I'm also linking this to Anything Goes at Seize the Birthday since it is a birthday card. :)

....and The Paper Players have a floral CAS theme this week.
