Stampin' Up! Australia - Stampin' Up! No Bones About It

Hi

Welcome to this week's Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge.

When I saw these colours I immediately thought of this set and how it would make an awesome earthy card with a dinosaur theme. I used the new stamp set, No Bones About It, on this card. One stamp set, three colours, 2 card stocks - EASY!

I added an Envelope Framelit Liner with some retired Smoky Slate DSP....always helps to jazz up the envelope. :)

I was also inspired by the sketch at Showcase Your Style this week, and also the theme word at CASOLOGY which is to make a Kids card. The sketch is perfect for a CAS card and to allow the stamp set to take centre stage. :)

Card recipe

Stamp - No Bones About It (NEW)
Ink - Island Indigo, Smoky Slate, Chocolate Chip
Cardstock- Island Indigo, Whisper White Thick, Whisper White
Tools - Stampin' Trimmer, Stampin' Dimensionals, SNAIL, Big Shot, Envelope Liner Framelits Die
Accessories - Whisper White C6 envelope, Neutrals Candy Dots

I hope you will join in and create a card with us.....and please feel free to leave me and the other CCMC participants some comments! :)

Cheers

Stampin' Up! Australia - Color Coach Card #117 - Butterfly Basics Sympathy card

Chocolate Chip #3

#ColorCoachJourney

Hi

I thought I would make a card for CASOLOGY this week using some Color Coach colors - Chocolate Chip, Tangerine Tango and Always Artichoke.

The theme word is STORY. The mother of a friend of mine passed away recently and although I had already sent her a card (so this one is not for her), it got me thinking about sympathy cards and the story of someone's life. I think this sentiment is beautiful as the memory of that person still lives on as they those who love them remember their life's story.

I put some Wink of Stella (clear) on the flowers and on a few of the stems just to soften the card a little bit and to reference the radiant sentiment. To echo the story theme, I stamped my sentiment on a piece of Very Vanilla card stock and tore the sides and rolled the ends so it looked like a scroll.

The only thing I think I would change about this is I would replace the Chocolate Chip layer with a Very Vanilla layer...after looking at the finished card, I think this would be more pleasing.

I hope you like my card. If you have been inspired by it and would like to support my creative business, all the supplies may be found by clicking through the links below which will take you to my store (some links not active until 2nd June).

Stampin' Up! Australia - Flowering Flourishes and Flower Patch

Hi

It is currently 10.30pm here in Australia and I've had this card idea knocking around inside my head for a while, but naturally, the idea crystallises just as I am about to go to bed and therefore an decent bedtime is postponed and gives way to creative urges.

CASE This Sketch have a really cool sketch happening this week....kinda borrows from the triple time stamping technique but not as layered. CASology have a beautiful tropical theme and ShowCASe your Style have an incredible colour palette on offer this week. Just to make things hard for myself, I decided to challenge with all three.

Here's my card:

Hope you like my card. :)

Stampin' Up! Australia - Color Coach Card #91 - Stampin' Up! Butterfly Basics

Old Olive #3

#ColorCoachJourney

Hi

This card was inspired
by the Color Coach card for Old Olive ....Old Olive and Pear Pizzazz.

I was also inspired by the theme word at CASOLOGY this week.... Mini!

I made a notecard sized card and used a piece of scrap die cut that I found in my Pear Pizzazz card stock stash. I decided to use the lovely quote from Butterfly Basics and the smallest butterfly stamp and punch. I also added Wink of Stella to the butterfly and the edge of the frame, but you can't see it in my photo.

Did you know that the quote is from Richard Buckminster Fuller? He was a US engineer, futurist and visionary. He was conveying that there is nothing about about the way something appears that can tell you its full potential.

Anyway...here's my card:
