Stampin' Up! Australia - Stampin' Up! Envelope Punch Board - now available!

Hi

BIG news! The Stampin' Up! Envelope Punch Board is finally available in Australia.

Here's a picture....

Here's some dot points...

  • It is $31.95! YAY!
  • This would help you use up the MOUNTAINS of patterned paper that I know you are hoarding and never intend to use. :)
  • The instructions are ON the board (metric and imperial)....so you will never have to memorise any complicated equations. YESS!
  • You will be able to create totally customisable envelopes in up to 66 different sizes! WOWS!
  • It is super-easy to use and is small and lightweight. It won't take up a heap of room in your craft space.
  • It has a clever scoring tool as well as a punch that lets you create rounded corners on your envelopes....not to mention other projects.....you will be able to make 'tabs' on your cards!
  • It's easy to keep it altogether....as usual Stampin' Up! have thought of everything and designed the stylus storage compartment and the punch tool INTO the board so you won't have a tonne of little pieces floating around.
Here's a video....

How do you get it?.....click here to order the new Stampin' Up! Envelope Punch Board! The code is 133774 in case you can't see it. :)

...or you can call me on 0413 405 136 or simply email me with your order.

Stampin' Up! Australia - Greetings of the Season - Dynamic Duos #76

Hi!

Today's card for Dynamic Duos uses the colour palette of Wisteria Wonder and Perfect Plum. They look great with silver so I made my card using some brushed silver card stock and a gorgeous silver frame.

I'm ramping up my Christmas Card stash so I took this opportunity to make one using the colours. I put a sheet of vellum in the metal frame to give a frosted look to the sentiment.

Stampin' Up! Australia - Less is More ....another attempt!

Hi

I am determined to nail these card challenges at Less is More!

This one features more white space on the card and less of the sponged gray clouds. I think I like it more than yesterday's card.

Stampin' Up! Australia - Color Coach Card #22 - Less is More Halloween Card

Rich Razzleberry Card #1

Hi

This card was made for the Less is More Witches & Wizards One Layer Challenge. This is the first time that I have done this sort of sponged, masked technique, so it is a bit rough in bits.

In hindsight, I would have gone a bit easier on my cloud cover, but I guess I got carried away and I wanted it to be a bit spooky and stormy looking.

I might give it another go and see what it looks like a bit 'lighter'.

It's also another one of my Color Coach Challenge Card and uses Rich Razzleberry, Basic Gray and Basic Black.

Cheers

Materials used:
Stamps - Googly Ghouls, Delightful Dozen
Ink - Rich Razzleberry, Basic Black, Basic Gray
Cardstock - Whisper White
Tools - Stampin' Trimmer, 2 1/2 inch circle punch, scrap paper (for masking), Stampin' Sponges.

Stampin' Up! Australia - Less is More #140 - Christmas Card "take 2"

Hi

I thought I'd better have another good hard go at the Less is More 'White on White' Christmas card challenge.

It was pointed out that my last card was more 'silver on white' than 'white on white' and I tend to agree so I'm giving it another shot.

I used the Typeset Alphabet Bigz Dies for my greeting and the Merry Mini Punch Pack star for my embellishment.

It is simple but it looks cool in real life!

Stampin' Up! Australia - Wedding Card - Layered Labels

Hi

This card started off as a 'clean & simple' card, but sort of took on a life of its own. I made this for a guy at work - he and his fiance are getting married in a couple of weeks.

It is actually much 'lighter' than the photo would suggest. I layered the Whisper White pieces onto Brushed Silver card stock....it looks quite elegant.

Christmas Card - CAS(E) this Sketch #48 - Less is More 140

Hi

I found some non-SU (gasp!) pewter embellishments that I really wanted to use on a Christmas Card this year and when I did my previous card for the CAS(E) This Sketch challenge, I thought they would work well.

I've been wanting to do a Less is More CAS Challenge for a while now....so when I saw the 'white on white' challenge this week, I wanted to give it a go and combine the two. Some of the cards on the Less is More gallery used silver so I hope that my card was white enough to comply with the rules.

I hope you like it. The sentiment was heat embossed with Silver Embossing Powder (SU).

Cheers

Stamps - misc "Merry Christmas" stamp
Ink - Versamark, Silver Embossing Powder

Stampin' Up! Australia - Color Coach Card #21 - Positively Chevron

Rose Red Card #2

Dear Stampin' friends,

Now this Color Coach card didn't really turn out the way I expected, but sometimes those cards are quite cool - yes?

This isn't based on any kind of sketch, but it was inspired partially by a card in our Impressions magazine and partially by a technique that I recently saw on Catherine Pooler's Stamp Nation forum where she did a really cool wood-grain look on her card.

I had a piece of Crumb Cake from an abandoned project that I had stamped with Rose Red using the Positively Chevron background stamp. The Colour Coach colours are Rose Red, Soft Suede & Marina Mist, but I have taken a bit of artistic license and used Crumb Cake as my neutral since I'm not using Very Vanilla or Whisper White. Is that ok do you think? I guess I'm just making the rules up as I go along. ;)

....anyway...I made the background using some Soft Suede ink, Craft Whisper White ink and Marina Mist ink with some help from my Simply Scored.

I wanted to make Rose Red the feature of my sentiment panel so I cut a piece with my Apothecary Accents Framelits and added a feature of Rose Red DSP (retired....I think it is called Sweet & Sour) ....decorated it with my main sentiment panel tag + some Marina Mist Candy Dots and there you go! FInished card!

It's not my usual style but I really like the background - it looks like a graffiti wall I think.

If you love this card and want to support my business and creativity then I invite you to browse through my online store.

Cheers

Stampin' Up! Australia - Oh Goodie! Christmas Card for CAS(E) This Sketch #48

Hi!

I was hoping to get an early night this evening, but as I sat with my son who wasn't feeling 100%, this idea for the CAS(E) This Sketch challenge popped into my head.

I suppose it IS World Cardmaking Day and I had done a fabulous workshop this morning so it was only fair to expect that I would have a highly-functioning mojo today! :)

I reversed the sketch a little in that I stamped the sentiment three times and the graphic stamp once. I just had this idea that the 'skid mark' from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set could be Santa's Sleigh skidding out over the heavens or landing on the roof leaving glittery patterns.....the 'Ho Ho Ho' needs no explanation. :)

I used Dazzling Diamonds on the skid mark....hope you can see it in the photo. :)

This would be a super-dooper easy card to create en masse for your Christmas card mailout this year!

Stampin' Up! Australia - Color Coach Card #20 - CAS(E) This Sketch Christmas Card

Rose Red Card #1

Dear Stampin' friends,

Here's a Color Coach journey card for you. This one is for the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge this week. The colours are Rose Red, Wisteria Wonder & Garden Green. It took AAAAAGES to make this card work. I fiddled with card stock, scalloped border, twine, sponging....you name it. In the end, I stripped it right back to the basics.....whisper white card stock, score lines and some one layer stamping. Easy and clean.

Here's the sketch.....

Hope you like it. The snowflakes are from a retired set, but Festive Flurry in the current Holiday catalogue would be a great one to get a similar result! :)

If you are inspired by this card, then please help my home business by purchasing your stamping & craft supplies from my online store. :)
