Stampin' Up! Australia - Stampin' Up! Blendabilities - I Like You

Hi

I made this card for the Seize the Sketch challenge and started off with the two panels which I stamped with the I Like You stamp set and coloured with the Blendabilities markers in Daffodil Delight, Rich Razzleberry and Coastal Cabana.

I wanted to make a fairly clean & simple card, but the card had a life of its own (does that happen to you?)....and just wanted me to pile embellishments and layers on! :)

I hope you like my card and it inspires you to step outside the comfort zone sometimes with your projects.

Hello Honey #1

Hi

While I was on the Color Coach In Color Cards, I thought I may as well continue with the brand new 2014-2016 In Colors since they are pretty special.

First off the rank is Hello Honey....a beautiful yellow....stronger than Daffodil Delight but not as lime-y as last year's Summer Starfruit.

The Color Coach calls for Hello Honey + Calypso Coral + Blushing Bride....I went to the favourite stamp set of the moment "Flower Patch" and did some major layering of the flower pieces. Blushing Bride looks great with Calypso Coral layered over it for the leaves....who knew!? :)

The challenge at Seize the Birthday at the moment is to make a card that is monochromatic yellow....I didn't quite do that but there's still a lot of yellow on here. The sketch is from Seize the Sketch!
