Stampin' Up! Australia - Build A Birthday + Wondrous Wreath Christmas Card

Hi

Welcome to this week's Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge.

When I saw these colours, I knew I wanted to create a Christmas card, but I wasn't sure how to theme it. I looked to Merry Monday this week for their challenge and saw it was 'Candles and Flowers'....perfect!

I used Build-A-Birthday and Wondrous Wreath to make a modern layered Christmas card. The candle flames were stamped in Crumb Cake and heat embossed over the top with Iridescent Ice embossing powder - they are lovely and sparkly. :)

I also got to use the gorgeous 5/8" Striped Cotton Ribbon in Lost Lagoon...looks great against the Very Vanilla card stock in real life. Makes a very rustic bow.

Here are our colours....

Retrosketches helped with this great layered sketch....

Here's the inspiration image from Merry Monday...

Edited 7/7/15 - I was so honoured to be in the gallery of Honorable Mentions this week for the Merry Monday Challenge. :)
