Welcome to this week's Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge.
This sketch really had me scratching my head and for some reason my mojo lead me down the vintage sepia path thanks to the Color Coach combo of Soft Suede and Early Espresso and the stamp sets Postage Due and Butterfly Basics.
The 'postage stamps' and postmark gave me my four squares down the side and the large image from Postage Due did the rest. I did use the netting stamp from Butterfly Basics to add some texture stamping onto the image too.

Oh my!!!!!! This is absolutely GORGEOUS!!!!! Postage due is one of my very favorite sets and I just LOVE it done up in this sepia look. Just really amazing (I can't say it enough)! This is definitely my ffavorite card of the week!

ReplyDeleteThis is a fantastic card Alison, my favourite of the design team cards. It wasn't until i looked really closely tonight that I saw the hessian tucked in behind the stamps - what a fabulous detail. Thanks for the lovely comments you left me.
ReplyDeleteAlison this card is absolutely FABULOUS! I struggle so much to pull off the vintage look, but I shall be pinning this masterpiece for inspiration for sure! I love the detail of the hessian and the 'Something Borrowed' embellishment too - this is one amazing card!
