Welcome to this week's CASE-ing the Catty Blog Hop! Welcome from Emma's blog!
This week the Blog Hop challenge is all about CASE-ing a project inspired by the Gift Tags from the new Stampin' Up! Holiday catalogue.
CASE stands for Copy and Share Everything. This whole blog hop is about using the current Stampin' Up! Catalogues to help you create. Sometimes crafters need a springboard to just get started and the catalogues are certainly a demonstrator or customer's best resource.
So I made a couple of cards instead of a gift tag, but I used the DSP and layout of the gift tag on page 8 of the catalogue.

Super cute Alison! I love how you have turned the tag from the catalogue into a super ute card. I love the gold doily accent. It really finishes off the whole thing!
ReplyDeleteI love how you have turned the tag into a card. That DSP is soo lovely. I love the gold doily as well.
ReplyDeleteGreat thinking Alison! I tossed up whether or not to turn a card into a gift tag but it didn't occur to me to try it the other way around! Love these cards with that awesome paper!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea using the tag to inspire a card, Alison. Must say it looks impressive with the gold doily, nice way to step-it-up.
ReplyDeleteThese look very effective and super simple - just what you need at Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI love these gift tags too! And the DSP! Both the doily and the gold trim ate beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe catalogue is always full of creations and love your thought in changing the tags up to cards.
