Hi
Welcome to this week's Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge.
My poor Four Feathers stamp set had been neglected for some time, so I thought that these challenge colours would look good as feathers or leaves.
Here are the colours for this week's challenge:
I also used the inspiration from CASE This Sketch and ShowCASe Your Style this week. This card is definitely my 'default' style. I like all the white space and even though I thought it would look great with some sponging, or a scatter of sequins or rhinestones....I just couldn't do it!! :) I often have to force myself to embellish. Part of me even thinks the Basic Gray sentiment panel is a bit too bold. ha!

Very pretty CAS design...I love the White Embossing on the dark Basic Gray...I haven't used my Four Feathers much lately either! Great job with the color challenge this week.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Allison! I almost used the feathers this week too! Yours turned out great and I love how you used the sketch.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love that bunch of feathers! Great take on the sketch!
ReplyDeleteLove the feathers, Alison! They go so well together and I like how you gave one of the soft sky feathers a touch of green. A beauty of a card!
ReplyDeleteThese colors are perfect for the feathers, and you have made a beautiful CAS card! I love how we see just a fine line of Wild Wasabi as a frame for the card front. Really sharp!
ReplyDeleteI love your CAS style Alison - a girl after my own heart! These feathers are so pretty and the grey sentiment panel is perfect. I must confess, I bought this stamp set yet find myself struggling to use it - I'm going to pin this one for inspiration!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous card and a thoughtful way to use the feathers! They look beautiful the way you stamped them in these colors! Great CAS card!
ReplyDeleteLove this Alison, this is so nice and clean! Would be perfect for a guy or a gal. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat way to combine challenges! Love this card...clean and simple, yet you've got that detail with the feathers. Wonderful!
