Stampin' Up! - Thank You card

Welcome to this week's Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge.

To create my card, I punched circles out of the Cherry on Top DSP, focusing on the different dotty colours in the patterned paper. I arranged these similar to the sketch.

I finished it off with a banner, a wooden greeting and some sequins.

Here is our sketch for this week...

I was also inspired by the 'Tic Tac Toe' challenge at The Paper Players this week. My card uses the recipe elements from the top line...Watermelon Wonder, Circles and sequins!

Card recipe

Stamp - none!
Ink - none!
Cardstock - Whisper White Thick cardstock, Whisper White CS,
Cucumber Crush, Cherry On Top DSP
Tools - Stampin' Trimmer, Stampin' Dimensionals, Triple Banner Punch, 1" circle punch
Accessories - Expressions Natural Elements, Metallic sequins,

I hope you will join in and create a card with us.....and please feel free to leave me and the other CCMC participants some comments! :)

  1. Way to go Alison - what a great CAS card! A clever use of the Cherry on Top DSP and I love that you managed to use our PP tic tac toe board this week too! Your bold green banner really stands out and the sprinkle of sequins adds a fun touch. Love it!

  2. Why didn't I think of using punches and DSP! So clever! It is a great CAS card! The sequins and Natural Expressions word are the "cherry on the top" of your card! lol! Great job with the sketch this week!

  3. Super simple, but packs a TON of punch! I truly admire your CAS approach to cardmaking!

  4. What a great idea to use designer series paper and punches! The sequins are such a nice touch and a sweet contrast to the wooden element.

  5. I love how CAS this is, and the focus on the greeting! The sequins are a perfect finishing touch!

  6. What a great idea to use this designer paper which is just PERFECT for the sketch! The Cucumber Crush really makes the "Thanks" stand out and the sequins are a great touch! Love this CAS card!!

  7. Great use of the Cherry on Top DSP Alison, the design really works with your card. Great way to incorporate the Tic Tac Toe challenge with the Connie and Mary one. TFS

  8. Clever idea to use the circles from the DSP! Love the wood sentiment and sequins. Sorry I am late with my comment. Family health issues. Better late than never!

Hi! Thanks so much for visiting my blog and sharing the love of cardmaking! Your comments are appreciated!
