Stampin' Up! Australia - Stampin' Up! Kind Koala

Hi

Welcome to this week's Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge.

The colour of Tip Top Taupe gave me the idea to pull out the cute Kind Koala stamp set. I used a Blender Pen to add some colour to the koala's ears.

Before you say anything...yes, I know that koalas are grey and not brown! I've seen them in the wild here in Australia - they are pretty big and they also don't hold flowers. ;)

Here are our colours...

Card recipe

Stamp - Kind Koala
Ink - Tip Top Taupe
Cardstock - Whisper White, Whisper White Thick Card stock, Lost Lagoon
Tools - Stampin' Trimmer, Stampin' Dimensionals, SNAIL, Blender Pen
Accessories - Regals Candy Dots, Tip Top Taupe Dotted Lace Trim

I hope you will join in and create a card with us.....and please feel free to leave me and the other CCMC participants some comments! :)

Cheers

  1. Haha. I never realized Koala's are only gray. Gray or brown yours is darling with just a touch of brown on the ears!

  4. Very cute! I like the way you hightlighted the Tip Top Taupe, where most of us made it a secondary color this week! Great card Alison!

  6. Well, koalas may only be grey, but I think this one looks great in taupe! I love his blended ears and the way you used the other colours sparingly but with great impact. A super card Alison!

  7. It's sort of a grey-taupe...so looks great on your koala! Love all the white space on here. Great job with the color challenge this week!

  8. This little guy would look good in any color, especially on a whimsical stamp holding a flower! : ) Like Jenny I like that the taupe was the featured color and the other were the accents on your darling card!
