The inspiration image at
The Card Concept's challenge this week is the lovely lyric “You Are My Sunshine”. I sing this song to my boys before bed every night - I love that song!
One of my friends asked me to make a card for a colleague who is leaving work in a few weeks. I also happened to have worked with this person and she is AWESOME!
So I knew I had to use this stamp for her card....but since it is a card from an office full of people, I needed to correct the grammar!
I used my rotary stamp to stamp an ‘OUR’ onto black cardstock, which I then heat embossed in white.
It’s not entirely true to my style of Clean & Graphic since I have a number of layers on the card...but it took on a life of its own in the end. :)
