Stampin’ Up! Australia - Stampin’ Up! Botanicals For You

Hi

Welcome to this week's Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge.

Here are the essentials:

  • I looked to the Botanical Gardens DSP paper pack for inspiration since all three colours are in that suite. I saw that the Hello Honey & Cajun Craze papers were quite gender neutral so this set the tone for my card.
  • Snip! Snip! Cut up your sentiments to fit your card....I stamped the sentiment but realised that it wasn't going to fit across my card when I needed it, so I cut it up and it worked perfectly! :)
  • Use up your candy dots! Rule of 3....pick a corner. Always looks good. :)

Here are our colours for this week:

Here is the sketch from The Paper Players:

  5. Love the way the black and white and shapes add a really clean graphic feel to your card, yet the papers add detail and interest. Great use of the sentiment stamps too; I must admit to feeling a little scared by these and not using them yet, so I love how you made them work with the sketch layers too.
