Stampin' Up! Australia - Stampin' Up! Floral Wings

Hi

Welcome to this week's Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge.

For my card I was inspired by the sketch at CASE This Sketch and I thought I would break out Floral Wings to mix up the colours. The background is from You Got This.

I love the different stamps in Floral Wings...especially the long vine which I used on the envelope.

Here are our colours...

Here is the sketch from CASE This Sketch...

  1. Love this Alison - the dijon hatched background sets off your butterfly to perfection and I love the addition of the vellum and pearls - adds a delicate touch to the bold colour scheme. Gorgeous as always!

  2. Beautiful and simple! The colors are not overpowering and by adding the vellum you gave the butterfly a touch of elegance.

  3. Love how the butterfly looks against that background stamp! Love the addition of the vellum butterfly overlay and the pearls. Helps soften up the bold colors. Very pretty!

  4. Love the clean white background - really works to make the colors stand out. Very pretty composition with the sketchy cross-hatched background contrasting with the precise patterns on the butterfly!
