Stampin' Up! Australia - Stampin' Up! You've Got This

Hi

Welcome to this week's Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge.

The colours this week are all from the same colour palette so they are easy to blend and use together. My stamp of choice is "You've Got This". The background is Blushing Bride, the flower is stamped in Watermelon Wonder and I used a blender pen to apply Calypso Coral ink to the petals and blended it into the Blushing Bride below it. It pulled some of the Watermelon into it too.

I love how this turned out. I used a White Gel Pen to mark out the stamen of the flower.

Here are our colours for this week...

Card recipe

Stamp - You've Got This
Ink - Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, Watermelon Wonder
Cardstock - Whisper White, Whisper White Thick Cardstock
Tools - Stampin' Trimmer, Stampin' Dimensionals, Blender Pen, Fine Tip Glue Pen, White Gel Pen
Accessories - Metallic Sequin Assortment

I hope you will join in and create a card with us.....and please feel free to leave me and the other CCMC participants some comments! :)

Cheers

  5. Beautiful card! Just coloring the flowers and not the leaves and stem really allows the flower to be the star of the show. It is gorgeous. The sequins here and there are a nice touch too!

  6. Very pretty! The watercoloring softens the colors and mutes them a bit lending to a very soft and feminine card.
