Stampin' Up! Australia - CASE-ing The Catty - Sneak Peek!!!

Hi!

Welcome to this week's CASE-ing the Catty Blog Hop! Welcome from Jess' blog.

This week the Blog Hop challenge is all about CASE-ing a project from the BRAND NEW 2015-2016 Stampin' Up! Catalogue. Exciting yes!?

CASE stands for Copy and Share Everything.  This whole blog hop is about using the current Stampin' Up! Catalogues to help you create.  Sometimes crafters need a springboard to just get started and the catalogues are certainly a demonstrator or customer's best resource.

Here's my card:

I'm using a brand new stamp set called Build a Birthday with some new Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper and Cherry On Top Washi Tape from the same suite.

The candle is a washi tape strip with the flame in Delightful Dijon on top.

The ribbon is the beautiful Watermelon Wonder Dotted Lace Trim. I folded it over to get a thinner strip.

The little fringed embellishments are made from the NEW Cotton Paper in Delightful Dijon. Very easy to do with the Fringed Scissors. They look so cute in real life. :)

I can't show you the original inspiration, but I can tell you that I was inspired by a wrapped present in the catalogue that featured all these elements. :)

Edited to include inspiration photo after 2nd June:

I'm also linking this to Seize the Birthday - they have an Anything Goes challenge at the moment. :)

    1. Emma, of course you may CASE my CASE! lol
It is basically a complete copy of the one in the catalogue except mine is portrait and the one in the catalogue is landscape (and a present gift wrapped). :)
I didn't really have to do any design work at all! :)
