Stampin' Up! Australia - CTC 30 - Birthday Bash DSP with Elebration

Hi!

Welcome to this week's CASE-ing the Catty Blog Hop! Welcome from Bronwyn's blog.

This week the Blog Hop challenge is all about CASE-ing a card from page 45 of the Occasions catalogue - the Graduation section.

CASE stands for Copy and Share Everything.  This whole blog hop is about using the current Stampin' Up! Catalogues to help you create.  Sometimes crafters need a springboard to just get started and the catalogues are certainly a demonstrator or customer's best resource.

The graduation section sorta had me stumped and this card actually went through a number of incarnations that looked more like the original before I had to dump strict CASE-ing in favour of design.

I tried to use some embossed kraft on my card but it wasn't working. I used the strip of Birthday Bash DSP and the embellishments as my main inspiration.

A colleague at work asked me to make a birthday card which was yellow with an Elephant on the front. I think this fits the bill. :) The stamp set is Elebration which is a vintage Stampin' Up! set.
