Stampin' Up! Australia - Stampin' Up! Birthday Bash and Amazing Birthday

Hi

Welcome to this week's Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge.

I made this card with the Birthday Bash Designer Series Paper and the Amazing Birthday stamp set. The patterns are very bold so it doesn't need a whole lot of embellishment.

The bow was made using the Bow Builder Punch - so cute! I did a little bit of paper piecing with the stamped sentiment just to add some colour and layers.

Here are the fun colours for this week's challenge:

I used the sketch from The Deconstructed Sketch to help me out this week. :)

Card recipe

Stamp - Amazing Birthday
Ink - Night of Navy, Crushed Curry, Calypso Coral
Cardstock - Night of Navy, Whisper White, Birthday Bash Designer Series Paper
Accessories - Subtles Candy Dots
Tools - Bow Builder Punch, Glue Dots, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Snips, Stampin' Dimensionals.

I hope you will join in and create a card with us.....and please feel free to leave me and the other CCMC participants some comments! :)

Cheers

  4. I love, love, love your card Alison - I don't know why, but the blue swirly paper just makes me think of a pinata being burst and this sentiment popping right out (bizarre I know!) I think it just gives the card so much movement. As for the bow - so cute!
