Stampin' Up! Australia - Amazing Birthday - Color Coach Card #107

Basic Gray #1

Hi

Welcome to this week's CASE-ing the Catty Blog Hop! Welcome from Rebecca Benson's blog.

This week the Blog Hop challenge is all about CASE-ing from the Memory Keeping pages of the Occasions catalogue.

CASE stands for Copy and Share Everything.  This whole blog hop is about using the current Stampin' Up! Catalogues to help you create.  Sometimes crafters need a springboard to just get started and the catalogues are certainly a demonstrator or customer's best resource.

Now you only have to look around my blog to see that I don't do very much of the scrapbooking/memory keeping side of paper craft, but that's cool...the Project Life stuff can be used on cards too. I made a card inspired by the Project Life page on pg 46. Here's my card..

Here's the original inspiration:

I used Color Coach Colors of Basic Gray, Melon Mambo and Old Olive. The colours work together well to produce a card fitting for a tween or teen I think.

My Basic Gray ink pad was not very inky and I need to purchase an ink refill so I decided to stamp my sentiment from Amazing Birthday with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The splotches are all from Gorgeous Grunge.

That's pretty much all there is to the card.

I finished off with some Itty Bitty Accents Epoxy Stickers and some Basic Gray Candy Dots

I hope you like my card. If you have been inspired by it and would like to support my creative business, all the supplies may be found by clicking through the links below which will take you to my store.

The 2015 Occasions Catalogue is still current so if you would like to go on my mailing list and receive your free copy, just send me an email. :)
