Stampin' Up! Australia - The Artful Stampers Blog Hop #18

So Saffron #1

#ColorCoachJourney

Hi

It's Monday so that means another Artful Stampers Blog Hop. :) Welcome from Alisa Tilsner's blog.

I wasn't entirely happy with this card....I was doing it in a rush Sunday evening...I was trying to go with a masculine Valentine's theme but keeping within the yellow colour spectrum of the Color Coach colours of So Saffron, Daffodil Delight and Basic Gray.

My son's favourite colour is yellow so perhaps I will give this card to him. He will love the yellow stripes!

I used the Colorbox Yellow Citrus Chalk Ink on the new Chalkboard Paper with the Big on You stamp set. It gives a cool washed-out chalkboard look. I mounted it onto the Irresistibly Yours Designer Series Paper (free during Sale-A-Bration!) which was sponged with So Saffron ink.

Here's the sketch...I flipped it. :)

I hope you like my card. If you have been inspired by it and would like to support my creative business, click here to be taken to my store.

The next page in the blog hop is Nicole Wilson!

The 2015 Occasions Catalogue and the Sale-A-Bration catalogue are OUT NOW so if you would like to go on my mailing list and receive your free copy, just send me an email. :)

Alternatively, you may download the catalogues here (Occasions) and here (Sale-A-Bration)

Cheers
