I sat down to make some Xmas cards this weekend and I had done 3 and lo and behold, I had run out of Stampin Up snail adhesive - OH NO!!!! I quickly phoned my demonstrator to order some refills but of course they weren't going to arrive in time for me to complete 30 Christmas cards in a weekend.
Necessity is the mother of invention so they say, and this is what I came up with for my adhesive-free cards. I used the gorgeous Stampin Up Baroque Motifs stamp set (this is the very first SU set I ever bought - I'm a bit new to stamping!).

I used some pre-scored card blanks (I buy these in bulk from Regal Crafts Tasmania) and punched a border on the right hand side with my scallop border punch, I then stamped the larger medallion in Chocolate Chip, followed by the the smallest flower in VersaChalk "Hint of Pesto" which I guess would be the equivalent of SU Old Olive. My SU Stamp-a-majig was absolutely invaluable to lining everything up perfectly - I only just bought this last week for another project. I finished with a smattering of rhinestones and stamped "Merry Christmas" in Chocolate Chip at the top (this was an old Hero Arts stamp that I bought from a bargain bin ages ago before I started stamping).
I made 25 of these and it didn't take long at all - and all without adhesive!!!!!! :)

Apologies for the very dodgy scan
